Jordi Pujol is a Managing Director at Objective, Investment Banking & Valuation, and serves as an engagement leader for the firm’s Valuation Advisory Services Group. Mr. Pujol is responsible for expansion efforts in Los Angeles, California, where he serves local clients in addition to remote clients across the US.
Prior to joining Objective, Investment Banking & Valuation, Mr. Pujol was a Senior Manager at EY (Ernst & Young) in their Corporate Finance practice under Strategy and Transactions (SaT). In this role, he focused on the Technology and Healthcare sectors, performing valuations for enterprise software, healthtech, medtech, and biotech clients triggered by transactions, reporting and disclosure needs, as well as strategic decision-making.
Mr. Pujol has over 15 years of financial modeling experience and has worked on a vast number of financial reporting engagements, tax opinions, and intangible asset valuations. His expertise includes purchase price allocations, business valuations, goodwill impairment testing, 409a and other employee compensation-related valuations, valuations of IP and other intangible assets, as well as investment holding valuations for funds in the Private Equity and Venture Capital space. He also has significant experience performing audit support reviews for both public and private entities.
Mr. Pujol was honored by The M&A Advisor as part of the 16th Annual Emerging Leaders Award, recognizing his professional achievements and leadership. A prominent figure in the Los Angeles business community, he serves on the leadership boards of ACG 101, Business Valuation Resources, and Exit Planning Institute LA. He regularly participates in events hosted by the Wharton Alumni Clubs, M&A law firms, and LA tech incubators, sharing insights on industry trends and best practices. Mr. Pujol also contributes thought leadership through Objective articles, LinkedIn Newsletter, and as a guest on podcasts including Echelon Business Development Network, Valuation Podcast, and Tech San Diego.
Mr. Pujol earned his Bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College, a Master’s in Finance from EGADE Business School (ITESM), and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. A CFA charter holder, he is an active member of the CFA Institute’s Los Angeles chapter.
