Thomas Lin is a Director at Objective, Investment Banking & Valuation, where he specializes in sell-side M&A advisory for founder-led, growth-stage SaaS and Technology businesses. With expertise in the LegalTech, GRC, Field Service Management, and PropTech sectors, Mr. Lin is skilled in guiding complex transactions for technology-driven companies.
Before joining Objective, Mr. Lin was with Nfluence Partners, following nearly nine years at Vista Point Advisors. At Vista Point, he advanced through multiple roles, including Principal, sourcing and closing over 12 transactions totaling more than $1.1 billion. Among these were high-profile deals like the $100M+ sale of FormSwift to Dropbox and the majority recapitalization of TravelNet Solutions by Blue Star Innovation Partners. His rapid ascent to Vice President was the fastest in firm history, marking his strengths in deal origination, client management, and strategic execution.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lin served as a Senior Investment Banking Analyst at Redwood Capital Group, focusing on Technology, Media & Telecom, and Business Services. He began as a Junior Analyst at Pagemill Partners, a division of Duff & Phelps, specializing in middle-market M&A.
Mr. Lin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and is a FINRA-registered securities representative.
